Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the were Orsted A/S (CSE:), which rose 1.58% or 10.40 points to trade at 667.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) added 1.21% or 13.20 points to end at 1,104.40 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) was up 1.03% or 11.00 points to 1,077.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which fell 2.91% or 5.25 points to trade at 175.00 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) declined 2.78% or 5.44 points to end at 190.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:) was down 2.54% or 7.40 points to 283.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 103 to 51 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.43% or 1.66 to $69.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.31% or 1.69 to hit $74.89 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $1,968.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.90% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.63% at 101.87.
