Taylor Swift Might Need a Crash Pad in Kansas City. Here Are Three.

The celebrity gossip mill has been working overtime lately with the rumors that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, are dating.

The whispers were seemingly confirmed over the weekend, when Swift was spotted supporting her reputed new paramour from his suite on Sunday as the Chiefs defeated the Chicago Bears.

Swift already has a number of homes, from a restored Old Hollywood-era property in Beverly Hills, to her pair of penthouses in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood. But were the pop icon ever to consider snapping up a pad to be closer to Arrowhead Stadium, here are three homes on the market in and around the city that could make good additions to her already sizable luxury property portfolio.

An Estate in the City’s Historic Upscale Residential District

Between her estate in Nashville and her Beverly Hills mansion, it’s clear that Swift has an appreciation for stately, character-laden properties, making this Country Club District abode a solid choice for the A-lister.

The almost 10,400-square-foot spread is on the market for $3.975 million with Sandy McCray of Kansas City-based brokerage ReeceNichols.

Columns frame the front door of the home, which leads into a checkerboard-floored entrance hall and beyond to formal living and dining rooms, a wood-paneled sitting room and a modern open-concept kitchen.

There are also fireplaces, beamed ceilings, a wine cellar and a backyard sports court—ideal for any athletic guests who may stop by.

A Sleek Apartment in the Heart of the City

In Nashville, Swift has a luxe Music Row condo with floor-to-ceiling windows and an open-concept layout, so this contemporary apartment with similar credentials could be a touchdown.

The sleek three-bedroom spread is perched on the 19th floor of One Park Place, a residential building next to Penn Valley Park in the heart of Kansas City. The 3,405-square-foot corner unit—which is on the market for $1.35 million with Dawn Boedeker of Malfer & Associates at Compass—has multiple living spaces, custom-built walk-in closets, a bar, walls of windows and “spectacular views,” according to the listing.

The building is a registered landmark—not unlike her 1934 Beverly Hills mansion—having been added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. It offers a 24-hour concierge as well as amenities including pools, a fitness center, a card room, a wine tasting room with private wine lockers and a cigar lounge.

Also known as the BMA Tower, the former office building was the first high-rise structure in Kansas City when it opened in 1963 since the building of City Hall in 1936, and was converted to residences in 2007.

A Mid-Century Modern-Style New Build

Swift is no stranger to Mid-Century Modern architecture. She owned a 1959 property in Beverly Hills for roughly six years until selling it in 2018 for $2.65 million, so it could be time to add another to her portfolio. This newly built but retro-style spread might be just the ticket.

While the four-bedroom property—on the market for $1.47 million with Brooke Nelson and Kristin Turner of ReeceNichols—was built in 2022, its design style could easily be from decades earlier with an oversized maple pivot door, beamed ceilings, a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, statement stone walls and dark wood details. It also boasts walls of windows, an office, a floating staircase and a six-car garage.

The house sits on more than 2 acres in Parkville, a historic town that’s part of the wider metro area, and some 30 minutes from the city’s downtown.

It’s “perfect for entertaining and seclusion,” according to the listing.
