Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the rose 1.07%.

The best performers of the session on the were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 10.00% or 1.70 points to trade at 18.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:) added 9.91% or 7.60 points to end at 84.30 and Scientific and Medical Equipment House Company CJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 6.22% or 4.90 points to 83.70 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 9.94% or 2.49 points to trade at 22.56 at the close. Theeb Rent a Car Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 4.73% or 3.70 points to end at 74.50 and Taiba Holding Co. (TADAWUL:) was down 2.61% or 0.80 points to 29.80.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 163 to 99 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.27% or 0.22 to $83.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.38% or 0.33 to hit $86.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 3.20 to trade at $1,945.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.32% to 4.11, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 102.73.
