Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the declined 0.93%.
The best performers of the session on the were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 1.15% or 32.00 points to trade at 2,810.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) added 0.93% or 22.00 points to end at 2,390.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:) was up 0.80% or 100.00 points to 12,600.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:), which fell 4.01% or 120.00 points to trade at 2,870.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) declined 3.20% or 81.00 points to end at 2,453.00 and Energix (TASE:) was down 3.08% or 37.00 points to 1,163.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 302 to 155 and 40 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.14% or 0.82 to $70.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.20% or 0.92 to hit $75.73 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 11.75 to trade at $1,915.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.58% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 0.75% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 102.94.
