Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the fell 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which rose 2.70% or 130.00 points to trade at 4,940.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:) added 1.80% or 53.00 points to end at 2,995.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.39% or 27.00 points to 1,970.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE:), which fell 2.85% or 1,240.00 points to trade at 42,260.00 at the close. Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.41% or 161.00 points to end at 6,509.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.25% or 118.00 points to 5,121.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 252 to 212 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.08% or 0.06 to $70.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $75.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 3.95 to trade at $1,933.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.09% to 3.70, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.03% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 102.59.
