Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.15%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the declined 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the were Israel Corp (TASE:), which rose 5.14% or 4,990.00 points to trade at 102,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) added 3.31% or 68.00 points to end at 2,125.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.54% or 2,510.00 points to 166,010.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which fell 4.36% or 225.00 points to trade at 4,935.00 at the close. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.67% or 113.00 points to end at 2,967.00 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.40% or 540.00 points to 21,960.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 268 to 200 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 4.29% or 3.11 to $69.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.92% or 3.02 to hit $74.10 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.97% or 18.95 to trade at $1,925.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.35% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.07% to 3.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 102.03.
