SÃO PAULO–Novonor informed Brazilian chemical company Braskem that it will study an offer made on Saturday by Unipar Carbocloro to buy 34% of Braskem from Novonor.
Novonor, the construction and engineering company formerly known as Odebrecht, owns 38% of Braskem and Petroleo Brasileiro, or Petrobras, owns 36%.
Novonor informed Braskem that no decision has been made yet on the offer by Unipar.
