Shares in Capital Metals PLC rose Friday after media reports that the Committee on Public Enterprises has appointed an independent legal officer to investigate misappropriation within the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau, which suspended the company’s mining licenses in Sri Lanka last year.
Shares at 1024 GMT were up 0.30 pence, or 13%, at 2.55 pence.
On Dec. 12, the AIM-listed mining company’s licenses in the Sri Lanka were suspended pending an investigation by the country’s government.
