JD Sports Fashion said Thursday that it has appointed BGL Group Ltd.’s Chief Financial Officer Dominic Platt as its own incoming CFO, currently expected to join later this year.
The sports-and-fashion retailer said Mr. Platt will take over from current CFO Neil Greenhalgh, who will step down from the business later this summer following the publication of the fiscal 2023 report and ensuring an orderly transition of his responsibilities.
Mr. Platt has previously held senior finance roles at Darty, and at Cable and Wireless, both in the U.K. and internationally.
“[Mr. Platt] brings strong international and public company expertise and a wealth of experience in consumer-focused businesses,” Chief Executive Regis Schultz said.
