KKR posted higher earnings and revenue for the fourth quarter, lifted by growth across its asset-management and insurance segments.
The investment firm posted a profit of $1.04 billion, or $1.14 a share, compared with $121.1 million, or 14 cents a share, in the same period a year earlier.
After-tax distributable earnings, or profit that can be returned to shareholders, rose 4% to $888 million, or $1 a share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 92 cents a share.
Revenue rose to $4.43 billion from $2.52 billion in the same period a year earlier. Asset-management revenue rose to $1.56 billion.
Assets under management rose 10% to $553 billion.
