John Wood Group said Thursday that revenue rose in the first quarter of the year, while earnings came in line, and backed its full-year outlook.
The consulting and engineering company said revenue climbed to $1.45 billion in the quarter due to higher pass-through revenue and a positive performance across units.
Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization was in line with expectations, the company said.
The company’s order book was $5.7 billion as at March 31, slightly lower than at the end of December, however its order book for delivery in 2023 is significantly up on year, the company said.
Looking ahead, the company said its outlook remains unchanged, and it still expects the year’s performance to be weighted toward the second half.
